When it comes to uploading your video to Facebook, we made it as easy as possible. We simply eliminated extra steps. We don't want you to lose momentum in your marketing process. We want you to create, upload, and set your video ad live as quickly as possible. So in this article, we teach you how to use our Upload to Facebook feature.

Post to Timeline

First, go to your "Published Videos" on the Promo dashboard.

Select the video you would like to publish on Facebook and click the "f Post" button on the top right corner of the video. You'll get a drop down list. From that list, choose the "To timeline" option.

In the editor window, give your video a title, write your message, select your audience, and click "Publish."

If your Promo account is not yet connected to Facebook, then Facebook will ask you to allow Slidely access to your public profile. In order to share your Promo video to Facebook, you must approve this access. You can always customize the access by clicking the "Choose what you allow" button at the bottom of the pop up.

Once you've approved Slidely access to your profile, your video will be processed and then posted to your personal timeline.

Post to Page

Just like posting to your timeline, you start by choosing the published video you would like to share from your dashboard. You then click the "f Post" button and select the "To page" option from the drop down list.

At this point, you will get a pop up message from Facebook asking permission for Slidely to manage and publish as the page you manage. You can always customize the access by clicking the "Choose what you allow" button at the bottom of the pop up.

Once you allow the proper permissions, you will get the editor window where you can select the Page on which you would like your video to appear, name your video, add your message, and publish.

After you click publish, Facebook will process your video and automatically post it when it's ready.

Post to Ad Manager

Start by choosing the published video you would like to share (found in your dashboard). Click the "f Post" button and select the "To ad account" option from the drop down list.

Next, you will get a pop up message from Facebook asking permission for Slidely to manage your ads. You can always customize the access by clicking the "Choose what you allow" button at the bottom of the pop up.

Once you allow the proper permissions, you will get a new pop up window asking you to select the ad account where you would like to publish your ad.

When you upload to the ads manager, the video will be saved automatically in your ad account. From there you can edit the text and make all the changes before setting your video campaign live.

Go to your dashboard to share your video on Facebook now.
